Mentoring_Circle_MaltaThe first mentoring circle of 2012 was held in Malta on Thursday, 2nd February, 2012. Maryrose who had already met all the participants individually before the session welcomed the group to the second Mentoring Circles and gave a brief introduction of the FE:MALE project. Then Angele introduced the concept of the Mentoring Circles and participants were handed their respective learning packs and explained briefly what they contained. The group was quite big, involving 7 women.

During the session, the women explained their business idea, spoke about the challenges that they are facing and what were their expectations from the mentoring circle. Angele explained the self assessment skills and attributes grid to the participants and allocated some time for them to fill it in. The resources and tools from the mentoring circle pack were used for the duration of the session.

The session was concluded by each participant setting a goal to be realised by the next session and the filling in of the session evaluation questionnaire. Although the group had diverse double disadvantage criteria, the group proved to be very dynamic and synergised.
