P2020154The second session of the Mentoring Circles in Malta took place on Tuesday, 20th March, 2012. The session started earlier than usual with a visit to the newly established Business First – a one stop shop to help business people plan, start, manage, grow or close down their business, and deal with day-to-day challenges; including information on Government rules and regulations, together with compliance requirements affecting businesses in Malta.

The ladies who came prepared with queries and questions about their business ideas. This session was very animated and interactive and was deemed very positive by all present.

After the session at Business First, the ladies went back to the Foundation’s premises where the actual Mentoring Circle commenced. The mentees had to do something tangible towards moving closer to their goal. Angele and Maryrose congratulated all the mentees as in a month they have managed to exceed the goals that they have set for themselves.

The session then continued with the exercise No. 7 – The Recipe of success whereby the mentees chose three items which they thought that they were weak in but managed to prove themselves wrong and overcome the difficulties. All the mentees gave tangible examples of their weaknesses and their way of surpassing them. FWE set up the meeting room with laptops where the mentees logged on and start a virtual tour of the tools. As facilitators both Angele and Maryrose are very pleased with the progress being achieved through the Mentoring Circles and the enthusiasm of the ladies who attended the meeting.
